About

Liberty Polling is a opinion polling organization conducting polls in the state of Washington.

Our goal is to provide fair and open polling data. All of our polls will be conducted via automated means, and once a representative sampling is collected, we will publish detailed breakdowns of the results on this website. Liberty Polling is not affiliated with any party, however we can be hired by candidates who wish to sponsor polls. All such polls are clearly labeled.

New Poll: Pot, Gay Marriage are a Yes, Governor Race headed toward a recount

And here it is, the Washington State "Exit Poll" is out! We've filtered our polling data from October 22nd to November 3rd based on the lists of returned ballots received as of October 31. Special thanks go out to the Washington Secretary of State Elections Division and King County Elections for providing the data that made this poll possible.

Here it is:

First Week Results

The results for October 7th to 13th are in! We polled 2430 Registered Voters via Washington landlines. The results were then weighted based on 4 year age group, gender, and legislative district to match the historical voter distribution. As is expected, Obama is the clear winner in the Presidential Race.
The spread on the Governor race is equal to the margin of error. Based on the current data, a likely outcome is a 13000 vote victory by Inslee. This election is almost guaranteed to come down to the second recount.

Our first poll has begun!

We are currently conducting our first poll, a preference poll for the Presidential and Governor races. We began automated phone calls on Saturday October 6th, and expect to publish the first set of data by Monday, October 15th. We will publish preliminary data as our response rate allows.

If you received a call from Liberty Polling and wish to opt-out: please call back the number you received the poll from. Do not begin the poll, wait and you will be prompted to opt-out.
